Job summary

Origin Mining Company is seeking a mobile lubrication technician to service fleets in the field. You will lubricate vehicles, check fluids, and assist with light maintenance on trucks and equipment to keep operations moving.

Duties include oil changes, antifreeze installation, tire inspection and rotation, replacement of lights and belts, and performing minor repairs as required. You will move equipment as needed and adhere to all safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in lubrication, mobile and light duty truck maintenance.
• Must be committed to a safe work environment and adhere to all site policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate vehicles, change motor oil, and install antifreeze.
• Check and top up fluids in tires, fuel, oil, transmission, radiator, and battery.
• Replace lights and accessories like wiper blades and belts.
• Perform minor repairs: brakes, spark plugs, oil and filters.
• Rotate, test, and service or replace tires.
• Grease and lubricate units with grease guns or spray lubricants.
• Move equipment as needed to perform duties.

Service mobile equipment, trucks, and other light vehicles, in the field with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lubricate vehicle, change motor oil, install antifreeze.
• Check air pressure in vehicle tires; and levels of fuel, motor oil, transmission, radiator, battery, and other fluids; and add air, oil, water, or other fluids, as required
• Replace lights and other accessories, such as windshield wiper blades or fan belts.
• Perform minor repairs such as adjusting brakes, replacing spark plugs, and changing engine oil and filters
• Rotate, test, and repair or replace tires.
• Grease and lubricate vehicles or specified units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles, using grease guns or spray lubricants.
• Move equipment around, as necessary, to perform the job.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in lubrication, mobile and light duty truck maintenance.
• Must be committed to a safe work environment and adhere to all site policies and procedures

Physical Demands:

To be eligible for this position, an individual must possess the following requirements to perform the essential job functions:

• Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion
• Able to operate a telephone and mine phone/radio with sufficient voice and hearing to carry on a conversation for the purpose of communicating information, to management.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds periodically.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license and be able to operate a light vehicle.
