Job summary

Origin Mining Company is seeking a skilled Mobile Light Vehicle Technician to service and lubricate equipment in the field, perform routine maintenance, and ensure reliability of trucks and support vehicles used at mining sites in Golden Valley, AZ.

Responsibilities include checking fluids, changing oil, rotating tires, performing minor repairs, and maintaining clean, safe work practices while following site policies.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in lubrication, mobile and light duty truck maintenance.
• Must be committed to a safe work environment and adhere to all site policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Lubricate vehicle, change motor oil, install antifreeze.
• Check air pressure in vehicle tires; and levels of fuel, motor oil, transmission, radiator, battery, and other fluids; and add air, oil, water, or other fluids, as required
• Replace lights and other accessories, such as windshield wiper blades or fan belts.
• Perform minor repairs such as adjusting brakes, replacing spark plugs, and changing engine oil and filters
• Rotate, test, and repair or replace tires.
• Grease and lubricate vehicles or specified units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles, using grease guns or spray lubricants.
• Move equipment around, as necessary, to perform the job.

Physical Demands:

To be eligible for this position, an individual must possess the following requirements to perform the essential job functions:

• Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion
• Able to operate a telephone and mine phone/radio with sufficient voice and hearing to carry on a conversation for the purpose of communicating information, to management.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds periodically.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license and be able to operate a light vehicle.
