Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a CSA Customer Application Engineer to lead the technical content and management of LTSA proposals within the Commercial Service organization. You will own complex service scopes, cost assumptions, and customer-facing technical deliverables to ensure competitiveness and risk balance.
You will partner with commercial, sales, engineering, and regional teams to optimize proposal strategies and support negotiations, with travel on short notice and full-time engagement in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
- 5-10 years of relevant industry experience in roles like Project Engineer or Application Engineer.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical content for LTSA proposals and manage related scopes.
- Interpret customer requirements and translate them into optimized service solutions.
- Define and challenge assumptions to ensure technical and commercial competitiveness.
- Validate technology used in proposals and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with commercial, sales, engineering, and regional teams on strategy.
- Support negotiations on technical, operational, and risk topics.
- Act as a technical partner throughout the proposal development process.
- Drive cross-functional alignment for customer-focused solutions.
