Job summary

Langham Logistics, Inc is currently seeking an onsite Transportation Claims Specialist in Indianapolis to support daily operations with a focus on LTL and Truckload claims, carrier relationships, NMFC classifications, routing guides, and EDI unmatched transactions.

You will work closely with carriers, carrier account representatives, Accounting, Customer Service, and Operations to research, resolve issues, and ensure timely follow-through on claims and service inquiries.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; related education or training preferred.
Experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or supply chain operations.
LTL transportation and freight claims experience preferred; NMFC knowledge beneficial.
Experience working with carriers and carrier reps; TMS and MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

Manage LTL and Truckload freight claims from identification through final resolution.
Maintain carrier relationships and coordinate with carrier representatives on issues.
Create and update routing guides, preferred carrier information, and service levels.
Research NMFC classifications, freight class, reclassification, weight and dimensions.
Audit carrier invoices for accuracy; support accounting with research and credits.
Review EDI unmatched transactions and coordinate resolutions with carriers and teams.
Investigate yesterday's pickups; follow up on missed or delayed shipments.
Provide transportation customer service support including tracking and exceptions.
