Job summary

Central Transport LLC seeks an onsite Terminal Manager for our Blaine, MN terminal. You will oversee dock operations, loading processes, and supervise drivers and dock staff to ensure safe, efficient service.

Strong leadership and communication are essential, with a focus on achieving KPI goals and maintaining high safety standards. The role requires flexibility to work 50 hours weekly, including nights and weekends, with a salary range of $60,000–$75,000 plus a 5–10% performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team, preferable in transportation operations.
• Strong understanding of the LTL trucking industry or related field.
• Leadership skills including hiring, coaching, and mentoring employees.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and safety.
• Comfort with technology and ability to leverage modern systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations for designated section of the terminal dock, including loading and forklift traffic.
• Ensure proper loading of carriers by monitoring cube and weight of trailers.
• Provide leadership to drivers, dock workers and dock hands.
• Monitor dock production and KPI goals, including hours and overtime compliance.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with DOT/OSHA standards and company policies.
