Job summary

The LTL Cross Dock Access Guard role at HRforGrowth client site oversees gate operations for inbound/outbound traffic at a high-volume cross-dock facility in New Jersey. You will verify credentials, monitor access, and coordinate with transportation and warehouse teams to keep operations secure and on schedule.

This full-time, on-site position requires at least 2 years in logistics or security, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access for vehicles, visitors, contractors, and employees.
• Verify driver credentials, delivery docs, trailer numbers, seals, and appointments.
• Maintain facility access compliance and security protocols.
• Process inbound/outbound traffic through gate management systems.
• Issue access authorizations as required.
• Coordinate flow of inbound/outbound LTL traffic to prevent delays.
• Provide real-time status updates to warehouse and transportation teams.
• Support dispatch and operations leadership with arrivals, departures, and exceptions.
• Monitor yard activity and escalate issues affecting service levels.
• Assist with carrier compliance verification and documentation review.
