Job summary

HRforGrowth is recruiting for an LTL Cross Dock Access Guard. The role serves as the primary gate access controller for a high-volume LTL cross-dock campus, coordinating security, access credentials, and vehicle flow to support uninterrupted logistics operations.

The position works as an operational partner to site leadership and transportation teams, balancing security oversight with customer service and documentation duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and payroll systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Independent work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor all vehicle, visitor, contractor, and employee access to the facility.
• Verify driver credentials, delivery documentation, trailer numbers, seal integrity, and appointments.
• Maintain compliance with security protocols and access requirements.
• Process gate transactions and issue access authorizations.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound traffic and communicate statuses to teams.
• Support dispatch, transportation and operations leadership with real-time information.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report security incidents as needed.
• Maintain electronic records of gate activity and incidents.
