Job summary

Roadrunner Freight is seeking a Freight Handler at our Cincinnati, OH location. The role involves loading, unloading, labeling, and moving freight efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will follow work orders, handle pallets, and help ensure safe, accurate material movement across the distribution network. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and forklift qualification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures and manuals.
• Ability to write routine correspondence and communicate with operations.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to determine materials to be moved.
• Loads and unloads freight and counts onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Loads freight into vehicles and secures with blocking or padding.
• Transports freight from storage dock to designated area.
• Secures lifting attachments and moves loads safely to destination.
• Attaches identifying tags to freight and marks information on packages.
• Stacks or bundles freight for transport and secure banding.
• Cleans work area and assists with equipment maintenance.
• Operates industrial truck or hoist to move material as needed.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve goals.
