Responsibilities include resolving delays, ensuring DOT compliance, and maintaining accurate records, while contributing to overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dispatcher or similar role in transportation, preferably LTL.
• Strong knowledge of LTL routing and scheduling processes.
• Proficient with dispatch software and logistics platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with multitasking capabilities.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and dispatch LTL pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor daily dispatch activity and shipment status.
• Optimize routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide drivers with route information and instructions.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, dock, and service teams.
• Resolve delays and implement contingency plans.
• Monitor logs and hours of service for DOT compliance.
• Maintain documentation and records.
• Report on delivery performance and driver productivity.
