Job summary

Quantix SCS, Inc. is seeking an experienced LTL professional to lead customer freight sourcing events and support carrier network strategy.

This role requires knowledge of LTL pricing and network operations to analyze bid results and present award recommendations to customers. You will manage bids from data preparation through invitations, evaluate pricing proposals, develop bid scenarios balancing cost and service, and translate awards into routing guides while maintaining timely communication

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LTL pricing, procurement, or transportation analysis.
• Understanding of LTL pricing mechanics and cost drivers.
• Knowledge of national/regional LTL carriers and networks.
• Ability to evaluate carrier proposals and develop sourcing recommendations.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills with pricing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years in Transportation, Carrier Management, or Logistics (hazmat logistics preferred).
• Experience leading LTL RFPs for shippers or LSPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer LTL bids from data preparation through bid analysis and award implementation.
• Evaluate carrier pricing proposals including base tariffs, discounts, and surcharges.
• Develop bid scenarios balancing cost, service, coverage, and capacity.
• Identify suitable carriers based on service areas and transit times.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with carriers with internal stakeholders.
• Translate awards into routing guides with operations teams.
• Maintain timely communication with customers, carriers, and internal staff.
• Stay updated on LTL market conditions and carrier capabilities.
