Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an Inspector V for the Waiver Survey & Certification division in Plainview, TX. This on-site role requires extensive travel (up to 80%) to perform licensure inspections and investigations in long-term care facilities while preparing detailed narrative reports.

The position emphasizes testimony at hearings, training of new staff, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regs relevant to program area.
• Ability to interpret laws and regulations and prepare reports.
• Ability to conduct inspections and investigations and determine proper action.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site licensure inspections, complaints and investigations in LTC facilities.
• Prepare written reports detailing deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Testify at hearings or court regarding findings and compliance.
• Train new hires and mentor staff on inspection procedures.
