Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks an LTCR Inspector V to conduct on-site inspections and investigations at Long-Term Care facilities across Texas. The role involves writing reports, testifying as needed, and traveling up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular and predictable work schedule and perform assigned duties.
• Conduct on-site inspections and investigations of LTC facilities.
• Prepare written reports detailing deficiencies with narratives to support findings.
• Refer cases to HHSC Employee Misconduct Registry when applicable.
• Gather evidence, determine method, and maintain chain of custody for cases.
