Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy billing, including rejection resolution and advanced troubleshooting.
• Open availability Monday through Saturday.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedules.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow management.
• Maintain compliance with Georgia, Mississippi, and Federal pharmacy regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy staff.
• Oversee medication dispensing accuracy and quality assurance processes.
• Resolve complex billing issues, insurance rejections, and reimbursement challenges.
• Participate in pharmacist rotation and on-call coverage schedules.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems and electronic medication administration records (eMAR).
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives and regulatory audits.
