Job summary

KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems (MAGS) division seeks a Modeling & Simulation Analyst in Huntsville, AL, to support system-level V&V, testing, and analysis for LTAMDS STARE. You will coordinate with the government customer and teams to drive model accreditation and fielding readiness.

The role requires a BS in a STEM field with 5+ years’ experience, knowledge of VV&A, and experience with SQL, Python, or MATLAB. US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or STEM with 5+ years of experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Air and Missile Defense systems, data analysis, flight/ground tests and system modeling and simulation and/or system performance analysis.
• Understanding of VV&A methodologies, testing criteria, requirements management, and traceability.
• Understanding of programming languages such as SQL, Python, and/or MATLAB.
• Travel 15-20% and United States citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Produce V&V documentation (reports, plans, briefs).
• Develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools for V&V.
• Perform comparative analysis between simulation data and referent test events.
• Deep dive analysis when deltas occur between simulation runs and referent tests.
• Support technical interchange meetings, program reviews, and integration/test working groups with insights.
• Assist with V&V planning, scheduling, and execution to align with program timelines.
• Coordinate between government customer, V&V agency, LTAMDS Test Team, and Accreditation Agency.
• Communicate findings to government stakeholders to support model accreditation.
