Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel LTAC RN in Temple, Texas for a 13-week assignment. You will work 36 hours per week on a night shift, caring for 5-6 LTAC patients, using vents and telemetry, and coordinating with the healthcare team.

Requirements include active RN license, nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months LTAC experience. This travel assignment includes weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro’s network.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• 18 months of LTAC experience
• Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes and reading Tele-strips

Responsibilities

• Care for 5-6 patients.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Educate patients and family on procedures and illness management.
• Monitor telemetry readings and interpret displays.
• Comfort and assist patients with pulmonary conditions and sedation needs.
• Start IVs and draw blood.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the shift.
