Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN LTAC for a travel assignment in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Start date 10/05/2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week consisting of 12-hour night shifts in a LTAC unit.

Qualified candidates must hold an active RN license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and possess BLS & ACLS certifications. Eighteen months of LTAC experience and vent/trach/telemetry proficiency are required; other client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent LTAC experience
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, ET tubes and able to read Tele-strips
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 patients in LTAC settings.
• Adjust and perform in fast paced environment.
• Keep up with admissions and discharges.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Educate patients and families on procedures and illness management.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Interpret telemetry readings and alert medical team as needed.
• Perform RN duties at all times.
• Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib.
• Use computer to monitor cardiac and vital information.
• Start IVs, draw blood, and follow through from admission to discharge.
