Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Long Term Acute Care in Erie, PA. This LTAC travel assignment runs 13 weeks starting 10/12/2026, with 48 hours per week on night shifts. Must have RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS/ACLS, and LTAC experience.

Vent/trach/ECG skills and Tele-strip interpretation are required. Travel RN position offers housing options, weekly pay, credentialing support, benefits, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

Active RN license.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
At least 18 months of LTAC nursing experience.
Experience with vents, trachs, drips, ET tubes and able to read Tele-strips.
Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

Provide care for 5-6 LTAC patients.
Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
Educate patients and family on procedures and illness management.
Monitor telemetry and adjust equipment as needed.
Start IVs and draw blood; manage admissions and discharges.
