MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Johnstown, PA is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Acute Care assignment starting 10/05/2026. This 13-week role offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.
Requirements: active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS, 18 months LTAC experience, and experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes, and Tele-strips. Benefits include weekly pay, housing allowance, health insurance for you and your family, credentialing fee coverage,
Qualifications
- Active RN license required.
- Degree from accredited nursing program required.
- BLS & ACLS certifications required.
- Eighteen months of LTAC experience.
- Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes and able to read Tele-strips.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for 5-6 patients.
- Adjust and perform in fast paced environment.
- Keep up with admissions and discharges.
- Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
- Educate patients and family on procedures and illness management.
- Monitor telemetry and interpret displays; notify team of irregularities.
- Perform duties of a registered nurse at all times.
- Care for LTAC patients with COPD, HTN, CHF, A-Fib.
