Job summary

Vibra Permanent Staffing is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a direct hire role with a trusted LTAC partner in Longview, TX. Join a specialized team delivering life-changing care to high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions.

You will work in a demanding LTAC setting, collaborating with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to tailor care plans, manage ventilators, and support patients and families on the path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Active RT license in-state or compact state.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and document findings.
• Educate patients and families; advocate for long-term health and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with policies, standards and regulatory guidelines.
