Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Scheduler to ensure proper staffing for our long-term care facility in Vincennes, IN. The role involves coordinating CNAs, RNs, and LPNs, controlling overtime, and maintaining supply levels for the nursing department.

The incumbent will work with the Director of Nursing and HR to hire staff as needed, maintain attendance records, and coordinate resident transport. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Scheduling experience is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule for CNAs and nurses (RNs and LPNs).
• Reduce overtime in coordination with DON/ADON and HR Director.
• Assist in hiring new CNAs and nurses as needed.
• Maintain accurate time records and monitor attendance (call-offs, tardies, no-shows).
• Order and stock medical supplies for the nursing department.
• Ensure nurse stations are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Organize nurses stations on a weekly basis.
• Organize rented equipment and return when not in use.
• Assist with scheduling for resident transport and escort needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
