The GED Prep Course Instructor has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, preparing students for the General Education Development (GED) test, which is equivalent to a high school diploma. The GED Prep Instructor provides instruction in various subjects including mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts. This position is essential for helping students who have not completed high school to achieve their educational and career goals.
This is a part-time position in Livingston, Texas, at the Texas State University System Polk County Center.
Work Hours: 19.50 hours per week
Physical Requirements: Duties may include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting or moving of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity are required to ensure effective instruction and safe supervision of students in classroom and/or laboratory settings.
