Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Must pass technical competency test and Yard Safety Orientation.
• Texas Class B CDL with air brake endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses, function tests, and repairs LRV systems and equipment.
• Performs diagnosis and repair of complex electrical and electronic equipment.
• Downloads diagnostic fault history and performs fault analysis.
• Tests and repairs to line replaceable unit level; uses OEM wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Documents warranty data and enters work orders into maintenance system.
• Maintains safety and clean work area; provides excellent customer service to METRO internal/external customers.
