Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license in California.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.
• Experience in residential/healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration, health monitoring, and clinical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document individuals' general health and well-being.
• Administer medications within license scope and maintain medication records.
• Support behavioral health plans and crisis prevention when needed.
• Complete accurate documentation of health, medication, and behavioral notes.
• Collaborate with DSPs, nurses, physicians, and care team.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and organizational requirements.
