Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness Centers in Carmichael, CA seeks Licensed Psychiatric Technicians (LPT) and LVN to join our compassionate care team. You will oversee daily patient care, document medical notes, and support treatment plans under physician orders.

Qualifications

• Current Psychiatric Technician (PT) license or LVN.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current TB test and health screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of patient care.
• Provide outstanding, individualized resident care and medical support to clients as needed.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status.
• Provide care according to the Physician's orders, care plans, established standards, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and monitor patient administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Monitors and reports adverse reactions to medications and treatment to the RN and/or Physician.
• Sign, date and perform all charting, record keeping and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Utilizes good infection control procedures. Utilizes behavioral management and crisis intervention techniques.
• Ensures compliance with State licensing standards and accreditation standards
