Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.

The role is Full Time with Day shift. Nevada LVN licensure, plus BLS certification, are required; wound care knowledge is a plus to support our comprehensive care team.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid LVN license issued by the State of Nevada.
• BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire.
• Wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Must have current and valid license as a LVN issued by the State of Nevada.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year).
• IV certification within 6 months of hire.
