The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in a per diem, day-shift capacity at Mission, Texas.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year experience in Acute Care preferred.
• Wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services meeting psychosocial, physical and general care needs under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, meets the communication needs of the patient and family under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

• Must have a current and valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse issued by the State.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one-year experience in an Acute Care preferred.
• Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred.
