Arbor Terrace Crabapple is seeking an experienced LPN to transition into a Wellness Nurse leadership role. You will partner with nursing leadership to guide caregivers and CMAs, ensure exceptional resident care, and help lead daily clinical activities.

The role favors someone who enjoys mentoring, building relationships with residents and families, and moving beyond bedside nursing while keeping a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia LPN license is required.
• RN applicants are also welcome to apply.
• Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Home Health preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable coaching and mentoring caregivers and CMAs.
• Experience with EMRs and medication management.
• Leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical leadership and support to caregivers, CMAs, and nursing staff.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Review physician orders and medication changes in QuickMAR.
• Complete resident assessments and quarterly wellness evaluations.
• Monitor medication administration and clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in daily clinical stand-up meetings.
• Assist with resident care planning and interdisciplinary communication.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
• Promote regulatory compliance with state, federal, and company standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes.

What You'll Do

As the Wellness Nurse, you'll provide clinical leadership while helping create a safe, compassionate, and engaging environment for our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide clinical leadership and support to caregivers, Certified Medication Assistants (CMAs), and nursing staff

• Partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care

• Review physician orders and medication changes in QuickMAR

• Complete resident assessments and quarterly wellness evaluations

What We’re Looking For
