Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking an LPN for its Urgent Care Float role. The LPN will provide nursing care under RN supervision, float across Dracut, Westford, Tewksbury and Billerica urgent care sites, and support therapy plans with timely documentation.

Qualifications include MA LPN license and BLS, with CPR instructor preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient education, and adherence to the Nurse Practice Act, in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license required.
• Experience depends on unit requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing plan of care under RN supervision.
• Provide direct patient care within the primary nursing model.
• Administer medications and perform procedures per policy.
• Assess and reassess pain and document changes.
• Communicate patient status changes promptly to RN.
• Educate patients and families and provide discharge instructions.
