Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an LPN for the Float Pool at the Wareham, MA location. This full-time role involves direct patient care, medication administration, patient and family teaching, and ensuring smooth patient flow in a clinic setting.

The position requires MA/RI LPN licensure and BLS certification, with travel to SPG Primary Care sites as needed. New hire sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, patient and family teaching, and rooming.
• Perform procedures in accordance with organizational policies and within the scope of practical nursing.
• Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) to update or access patient information; coordinate care across SPG Primary Care sites as needed.
