Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and to oversee the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local standards, and active leadership to maintain high-quality resident care.

The successful candidate will direct nursing services, participate in discharge planning, and ensure documentation and reporting are accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and active LPN/LVN license in the state.
• Current CPR certification required and maintained in good standing.
• Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistant functions per facility rules.
• Supervise nursing staff, plan shifts, services and activities.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance.
• Complete reports and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed; coordinate with physicians.
