Job summary

MediLodge of Capital Area in Lansing, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for all shifts. Starting wages range from $39.40 to $51.39 per hour, with additional incentives and flexible pay options.

You will document residents' condition, implement orders, supervise staff, administer medications, and participate in training. Requires LPN/LVN license in Michigan and CPR; one year nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN program.

Responsibilities

• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns nursing care to team members according to needs and qualifications.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and treatments and documents per regulations.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.
• Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinates nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures.
• Interviews applicants and participates in staffing actions as permitted.
