Job summary

Medilodge of Cheboygan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a team focused on patient-centered care and growth opportunities. The starting wage ranges from $35.40 to $47.29 per hour, with enhancements based on experience, shift, and a Michigan incentive program.

Flexible pay options allow daily, weekly, or bi-weekly payment. The role emphasizes supervision of clinical staff, accurate medication administration, and coordinating nursing care for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of employment.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Document residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing care to team members based on resident needs and capabilities.
• Supervise and evaluate junior staff and CNAs.
• Administer medications and treatments and document as required by rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for staff.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are maintained safely and economically.
• Report observations and reactions to residents to the team.
• Coordinate nursing care with therapy and other departments.
• Assist with hiring, counseling, and disciplinary actions when permitted by state act.
