Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee an assigned unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents and a respectful team environment.

You will lead CNAs, administer treatments and medications, maintain accurate records, coordinate admissions/discharges, and collaborate with the RN Supervisor to implement individualized care plans while upholding safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program or nursing school.
• Ability to supervise both professional and nonprofessional staff.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain meticulous record-keeping and charting at admission, transfer, discharge, and other events.
• Accurately prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge of residents and coordinate transportation as needed.
• Administer professional nursing procedures (catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, dressing changes, specimen collection) per policy.
