Job summary

AdvisaCARE is seeking an experienced LPN Team Lead for an Independent Living Community in Michigan. This leadership role guides CNAs, HHAs, and other staff to deliver safe, compassionate resident care while maintaining regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include leading daily huddles, monitoring care plans, coaching staff, overseeing medication administration, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing practices in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in the United States.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience using electronic documentation systems.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Available to work rotating weekend shifts.
• Available to work overtime as needed.
• Home care/independent living senior living community/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to CNAs, HHAs, medication technicians, and other staff.
• Monitor resident care and ensure services align with care plans.
• Identify and report changes in resident condition.
• Follow up on falls, hospitalizations, and medication concerns.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Lead daily shift huddles and coordinate staffing.
• Oversee medication administration and documentation.
