Job summary

Greenville Center (3) in Greenville, RI seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team and provide direct resident care. You will supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and ensure high-quality care for residents.

You will also coordinate with physicians, document care in medical records, and lead the nursing staff on your unit while adhering to safety regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with a current RI license required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and facility guidelines.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents (feeding, bathing, dressing, ambulation; supervise meals).
• Arrange doctor appointments as needed outside the facility.
• Consult with families on care plans and concerns.
• Document all care in residents’ medical records.
• Lead day-to-day nursing assistants on your unit/shift.
