Distinctive Living in Tinton Falls, NJ is seeking an LPN for Mira Vie at Tinton Falls. The role involves assessing resident health status, developing care plans, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure regulatory compliance.

The LPN will oversee care plans, train staff, review physician orders and MARs, and maintain licensure while supporting a safe, high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required.
• 1 year of nursing or caregiver experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Must read physician orders and match to MARs.
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate verbally in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Follows services in resident care plans and documents changes in condition per local rules.
• Communicates resident needs to the Director of Health and Wellness as needed.
• Provides hands-on care and supports the resident’s care plan.
• Assists in training care staff for continuing education.
• Transcribes physicians’ orders and reviews new orders.
• Maintains required licensure and certifications; completes in-service trainings.
• Ensures compliance with CQI programs and safety standards.
• Reviews MARs and Daily Report to ensure appropriate clinical interventions.
