Job summary

Emerald Coast Center SS Okaloosa Community HC, LLC is seeking an LPN/LVN Nurse Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and supports the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing activities, maintaining manuals, coordinating with other departments, and participating in quality assurance programs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered nursing license in the state.
• Ability to lead and supervise nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure it reflects day-to-day nursing procedures.
• Participate in the facility’s quality assurance program and coordinate with other departments.
