Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN in this state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities and ensure quality of care.
• Create a warm, calm environment and demonstrate Mary Free Bed values.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff; participate in staffing and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation; administer medications per order.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet residents’ total care needs.
