Job summary

SouthCoast Health in Swansea, MA is seeking an LPN Staff member to join our caring team. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and educate patients and families according to our protocols.

The position involves a 32-hour work week, day shifts with varied start times, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus for this role. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package amidst a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) desirable.
• One year or more experience in a related setting preferred.
• Current LPN licensure in MA and/or RI.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19, with exemption option available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and patient/family teaching.
• Perform testing/procedures per policies and protocols.
• Utilize an EHR to update or access patient information and coordinate care.

We are searching for a talented LPN Staff

• $4,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

Hours: 32hrs

Shift: Day shift; Varied start times 8:00am and 8:30am

Location: Primary Care – Swansea, MA

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Director, Manager or designee. Perform a variety of duties involving direct patient care, such as medication administration, patient and family teaching, and testing/procedures in accordance with organisational policies, procedures, and protocols and within the scope of practical nursing. Utilise an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other related software to update or access patient information as appropriate. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Works cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• One year or more experience in related setting preferred.
• Current LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $28.95 - USD $45.05 /Hr.
