Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking an LPN Staff to join the Urology team. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and educate patients and families while using an Electronic Health Record to document care.

The position offers a 40-hour work week, day shift, competitive compensation, and a sign-on bonus. Massachusetts and Rhode Island licensure are required along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• One year or more experience in related setting preferred.
• Current LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt with signed exemption statement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, and patient/family teaching.
• Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) to update or access patient information.
• Perform nursing procedures appropriate to the patient age group and collaborate with the care team.

ResponsibilitiesPosition reports to the Director, Manager or designee. Perform a variety of duties involving direct patient care, such as medication administration, patient and family teaching, and testing/procedures in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols and within the scope of practical nursing. Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other related software to update or access patient information as appropriate. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Works cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• One year or more experience in related setting preferred.
• Current LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay RangeUSD $28.95 - USD $45.05 /Hr.
