Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking an LPN to provide direct patient care at our Massachusetts facilities. The role includes administering medications, documenting care, and supporting a multidisciplinary team in a value-based care model.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career progression. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour with eligibility within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state-approved school of practical nursing.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Functions within a designated clinical team.
• Obtains and documents relevant patient information and vital signs.
• Provides standard patient education under the plan of care.
• Obtains vital signs and other department-based testing.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policy.
• Documents all patient care activities in the electronic medical record.
• Explains procedures to patients to facilitate understanding.
• Performs setup for examinations and procedures.
• Communicates with health care team and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Adheres to established protocols and assists with emergency procedures.
