Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a team-based setting at multiple eastern Massachusetts locations. You will administer medications, document patient status, and follow clinician orders within policy and scope.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state-approved school of practical nursing.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proven ability to use electronic tools and applications relevant to the duties of the position (phone, keyboard, computer, applications).

Responsibilities

• Functions within a designated clinical team.
• Documents patient information, vital signs, and observations.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policy.
• Documents care in electronic medical records within the established timeframe.
• Explains procedures to patients to facilitate understanding.
