Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Massachusetts within the Atrius Health network. The role delivers direct patient care, administers medications, and documents in the electronic medical record.

You will work with a clinical team to ensure quality care and patient safety, while following established policies and care plans. Strong LPN credentials, MA licensure, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state-approved school of practical nursing.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with electronic tools and EMR for patient care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Functions within a designated clinical team and provides direct patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments per clinician orders and policy.
• Documents patient care activities in the electronic medical record.
• Obtains patient information and vital signs and escalates as needed.
• Educates patients per care plan and communicates results and follow-up plans.
