Job summary

Greens at Hickory in North Carolina is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate elder-care team. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and document plans of care in accordance with resident goals.

This role offers day or night shifts, full-time or part-time options, a sign-on bonus, and opportunities for growth. A NC LPN license and CPR certification are required, with prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited program.
• A current, unencumbered, active North Carolina LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience in Long-Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly notify physicians of any changes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents receive optimal care.

• Full-Time or Part- Time all shifts (7 a.m. – 7p.m., 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.), with every other weekend required.
• Flexible 12-hour shifts for PRN status
