Qualifications

• 0–1 year of LPN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current LPN or LVN license with state licensure.
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care.
• Ability to work under RN supervision and collaborate with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN and healthcare team.
• Monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and respond to patient needs.
• Administer medications and injections per policy and safety protocols.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the team.
• Document care, interventions, and observations in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards, and ensure equipment readiness.
• Assist with wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection as scope allows.
• Support orientation and training of staff and nursing students.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Participate in emergencies and assist code team as qualified.
