Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in the state.
• CPR certification required and maintained.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents daily to observe status and notify charge nurse/physician when conditions change.
• Identify problems and emergencies; initiate lifesaving measures if physician is unavailable.
• Provide holistic care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor medications, supplies, and equipment inventory.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evals and charting as needed.
• Report occupational exposures per facility policies.
