Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, Primrose policies, and state regulations, delivering person-centered care to support residents’ highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Current active LPN license in Wisconsin is required, CPR and First Aid certification must be maintained, and continuing education hours completed annually.

Qualifications

• Current, active nursing license in Wisconsin.
• CPR and First Aid Certification must be maintained.
• Complete annual continuing education hours for nursing license.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations for nursing in assisted living.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize.
• Basic knowledge of computer software.
• Willing to work weekend and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with standards of practice and physician orders.
• Follow Primrose policies and procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Commit to person-centered care to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure plans are followed and care is coordinated.
• Document care activities accurately and timely.
