Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care for residents in our care community, following physician orders and Primrose policies to meet standards of practice.

Join a team focused on resident well-being, teamwork, and compassionate, person-centered care; weekend and holiday rotation are required, with opportunities for part-time or PRN hours.

Qualifications

• Active, current nursing license in the applicable state.
• CPR and First Aid certification maintained as required.
• Annual continuing education hours completed as applicable.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of state nursing laws/regulations for RN/LPN in assisted living setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s/dementias preferred.
• Team player with collaborative approach.
• Basic computer software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care according to physician orders, Primrose policies, and relevant regulations.
• Ensure residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through person-centered care.
• Collaborate with care team to meet residents' needs and safety.
