Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for school-based opportunities in Westfield, MA. We are building a pipeline for upcoming assignments supporting students in local school districts. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities may be available based on district needs.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license required.
• Current Health Certificate may be required by facility.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pediatric or school-nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and health support to students during the school day.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school protocols.
• Monitor students with chronic or acute health conditions.
• Respond to health concerns and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student success.
• Assist with implementing individualized healthcare plans.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
