Job summary
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for school-based opportunities in Westfield, MA. We are building a pipeline for upcoming assignments supporting students in local school districts. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities may be available based on district needs.
New graduates are encouraged to apply. School nursing experience is preferred but not required. Benefits include competitive pay and weekly pay along with health coverage and training.
Qualifications
- Massachusetts LPN license required.
- Current Health Certificate may be required by facility.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS certification.
- Pediatric or school-nursing experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care and health support to students during the school day.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school protocols.
- Monitor students with chronic or acute health conditions.
- Respond to health concerns and emergencies promptly.
- Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student success.
- Assist with implementing individualized healthcare plans.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
